It’s been a big week for what I refer to as “Hermit Tech.” Stock in technology companies that facilitate working from home have soared in a spiraling market otherwise anxious by an impending coronavirus pandemic. [This is where I stopped reading.]

Hey it’s a challenge to find the grammatical errors, but the bolding is our clue. I’m assuming the first problem is stock + have instead of stock + has.
And then we have a market “anxious by” a pandemic. Would “anxious of” or “made anxious by” have worked? I got the impression there’s some sort of industry specific jargon going on here to do with an “anxious market” that I’m just not familiar with. Which reminds me, when I used to work in a bank I’d get annoyed when people would trot out the word “incentivize”. I’d use “give incentive” instead to see if they’d notice, or take it even further and talk about “incentivization”. But I later found out “incentivize” is a real word.
