A Texas Artist

Edward Muegge (Buck) Schiwetz (1898 – 1984) was born in Cuero, Texas. He graduated from Texas A&M University in 1921 with a degree in architecture. In 1929 he returned to Texas to become an art director and partner in the Houston advertising firm of Franke, Wilkinson and Schiwetz. In 1966 Schiwetz retired from his position as advertising consultant in order to devote himself to his art.
