About JMN

I live in Texas and devote much of my time to easel painting on an amateur basis. I stream a lot of music, mostly jazz, throughout the day. I like to read and memorize poetry.

  1. Great quote and image. Tell me what you’ve done there.

Thank you, OA. I photo’d 2 paintings from several years ago that aren’t very successful (whatever that means!), printed the jpegs, and scissored and pasted them into something I hoped would support Mark Russell’s comment. I guess it’s cut and paste in the analog world!

  2. This post seems to be trying too hard to be clever and edgy. Can we please focus on more important issues than outdated amendments and obscure quotes from deceased satirists? What is the actual point of these untitled oils on canvas?

Mark Russell was so brilliant. His perspective is needed now more than ever it seems.
