I live in Texas and devote much of my time to easel painting on an amateur basis. I stream a lot of music, mostly jazz, throughout the day. I like to read and memorize poetry.

    I love it. It has a softness and gentleness that’s necessarily missing from your sardonic pieces. The eyes are detailed and steady. Are you pleased with it?

      Thank you! I’m more pleased with it after your kind comments. The likeness is close. I would like to paint the flesh tones, the modeling of the face, with more authority! Eva liked it when I texted her a snap. Her remark in Spanish was: “Papa, that’s me. You’ve captured my mischievous look (“mirada picarona”).
