Thanks to the internet I’m swamped with knowledge of questionable value. Also, there’s a lack of depth – I think there might be a companion quote to the above about a little knowledge being a dangerous thing ….

Very good points. Couldn’t agree more about the Internet. I can celebrate and revile it in the same breath! I endorse Krugman’s assertion in the context of his essay as it relates to transparency in government, but dogmatic binary thinking just doesn’t accommodate all the complexity and mystery of life. I’m brought to imagine another Platonic cave where every “truth” has its opposite and both can be valid! Thanks for commenting, for following, and for your art.
